 Communication is the process of the exchange of information, facts, ideas, thoughts, and opinions between two and more groups of people. The communication should be clear, complete, concise, correct, and fully understood by the recipient. That is known as effective communication. If the communication is vague, incomplete, incorrect, and difficult to understand that may not beneficial for the business or any other purpose as well. 

Ineffective communication produces no good result it is the breeding ground for misunderstanding, mistrust, animosity, conflicts, chaos, and many more. A business organization needs to adopt effective communication that will uplift decision-making, speed up the inflow of work, increase productivity, make the business relationship strong, increase customer satisfaction, and solves many other problems as well. Businesses need to adopt seven c policies for establishing effective communication in the workplace. Let us what the seven c are. 

Seven Cs effective communication  

Communication to be effective requires the following seven c. These can be in written and oral form,  


This is the first criterion of effective communication that information should be complete. The context and message of the communication should contain all the important facts required by an audience. Complete information enhances to take proper decisions. It is cost-saving because no important information is missing then, there is no additional cost for conveying extern information required because the information is complete. A complete communication clarifies all possible questions. Complete information always persuades the audience. 


The subject of matter should be short and brief. No unnecessary elaboration is to be made in communication. Words used in communication should be appropriate and expression should be precise. A concise message saves the tie of both sender and the receiver also. The important facts and information should be underlined and highlighted, it can be the reason for avoiding exclusive worlds and fewer chances of misunderstanding. Concise information is more appealing compared to long messages to the audience. 


The sender should consider the social, cultural background, education, age, emotions, and many more things of the recipients. The sender needs to think according to the audience's point of view. The sender needs to emphasize on approach. Empathize with the interest of the audience; this will stimulate a positive reaction from your recipients. The sender needs to show optimism towards to audience rather than pessimistic. Give stress on positive words rather than negative words. 


Concrete communication refers to the exchange of specific, define, and exact information instead of vague and general information. It strengthens the clarity of information with confidence. It uses for specific facts and figures. The words used are very accurate and clear which builds the reputation. Concreteness massages are less chance of misinterpretation. 


A courtesy approach should present ineffective communication. The sender of the message should be alert in respect of dignity, honor, and respect towards to receiver. The sender needs to take care respect of the recipient. Courtesy considers both points of view as well feelings of the receiver of the massage. 


Clarity must be ineffective communication. The idea and facts contained in the message should be expressed clearly. There will remain no dilemma in respect of the meaning of the massage. The sender needs to emphasize an easily understandable context rather than try too much at once. 


Effective communication should be correct in spelling, construction of sentences, and use of language. Grammatical mistakes must be avoided. Dictionary, computerize spelling checker, and many more required things may be used for making error-free massage. Revision of the text is needed to avoid any careless omission. A correct massage creates a good impact if the sender and enhances the prestige of the sender.

Types of communication 

Communication is very important for conveying feelings and emotions. There are five types of communication everyone needs to know that is following.

Verbal communication 

Verbal communication refers to communicating by speaking with others. It can be face to face, via telephone, via Skype, zoom, and many more ways also present. Verbal communication engagements can be formal and informal also like meeting, and chatting with friends. It is not only just about words, but also how we combined words for creating a meaningful message and information verbally. 

Nonverbal communication 

Mostly while we speak often say more than the required word. Nonverbal communication refers to touch, posture, eye contact, facial expression, hand movement, and many more. In non-verbal communication, people need to attention to the not only to the words but also to body language. 

Written communication 

In the Morden area, there are various ways available for written communication. It includes an email, a report, a facebook post, a memo, tweeter, and many more ways there. All forms of written communications have one main purpose information should be clear and concise manner. Poor writing skills can lead the confusion and embarrassment. Especially in the digital area, people need to consider two while writing first poor sentence writing and careless error makes look bad to you, and second ensure the content and information you are promoting have a long haul.   

Listening communication 

Listening is also one of the common ways of communication because if we do not listen then we cannot engage with them. Without listening it is impossible to assess some thoughts and ideas. 

Visual communication 

There are a lot of examples of visual communication like television, facebooks memes, videos, images, and many more. All the advertisement of products uses images to sell their products. This is the most common and often use for communication to audiences.
