 Project integration management defined as cross departmental management process where different teams work s collaborating in order for meeting the project expectation of the client. Integration management includes various trends, systems, and methods brought together to make a cohesive strategy. It is a very complex process, but it plays a vital role in the management of business.  In order achieve business goal, the project integration management contributes majorly in providing guidance for the management of complex process.

Project integration management is important for maintaining trade-offs. The meaning of trade-off is business does not have everything for completing the project on time so managers need alternatives to meet the expectation of the business. To achieve business goals, integrators need to identify, define, unify, combine, and cooperate with various processes and activities under the project management. This scope statement will adjust during the completion of the project life cycle. But the managers try to make as accurate a scope statement as possible for avoiding scope creep in the process.

The project management plan refers to bringing all the important factors of the planning phase together in one document. The management plan contains the project goal, budget, risk factor, uncertain factor, the scope of work, flexibility of plan, and many more. This is a fixed plan; it will not change without a formal change request.

Work and guidance

After making the team for the project, the manager or leader needs to communicate well with a team member for achievable goals. They should guide them in managing resources, making changes where required, and how they can work effectively for the goal. Leaders should monitor the performance against project goals throughout the project life in order to achieve and make necessary changes to keep things on track.

It is the phase when integration manger should the document the finding in order for determining whether they have achieved all the objectives or not.
